Shyvon is a composer and a fresh graduate with a BA (Hons) in Music from LASALLE College of the Arts. Her expertise lies in composing contemporary music for diverse ensembles, including both Western and Asian instrumentations. Driven by a desire to push creative boundaries, she embraces unconventional methods like incorporating wine bottles and generative music into her compositions.

Classically trained in music from the age of five, Shyvon attained ABRSM Grade 8 Certificates in both music theory and piano in 2018 and 2021, respectively. She also honed her skills as a marching snare drummer and mallet player, actively participating in West Spring Marching Band (WSMB) from 2014 to 2017 and Ngee Ann Polytechnic Concert Band (NPCB) from 2018 to 2021. As the appointed Section Leader of Percussion, she motivated, inspired, and nurtured her section mates to excel.

In addition to her formal training, Shyvon has independently ventured into learning to play the acoustic/electric guitar, resulting in foundational knowledge that further enriches her versatility in music. This multi-instrumentalist background has significantly influenced her compositions, resulting in a rich and diverse musical palette.

Beyond composing and music performance, Shyvon's expertise extends to sound design for movie trailers and video games, integrating sound effects to enhance visual narratives. Additionally, she possess a solid understanding of mixing and mastering techniques, ensuring a polished and professional auditory quality across her compositions.

Actively seeking opportunities, Shyvon aspires to be commissioned for orchestral, concert band, percussion ensemble, and film works. She also remains dedicated to continuous improvement as a percussionist, seeking to further enhance her musical expression.

While composing is her primary focus, Shyvon also works as a music educator, where she teaches piano, drums, ukulele, and 'O' Level Music (MEP). In her free time, she explores digital marketing, photography, and film.
